My letter to God for today.
(I don’t usually include these but today it seemed appropriate because of the good answer)

My dearest Abba Father, What is the mystery of hearing thy voice, dear Lord? How do delay and detour and reverses figure into your dealing with me? What about delayed answers to prayer? Especially prayers for healing? I have to assume that such things are timed by thee for my maximum benefit. But if things are delayed or refused on account of something I do not know, or something I do not understand – please undertake to teach me. Enable me to remove anything that will be an obstacle to the free flowing of thy Holy Spirit through me. Tune my ear to better hear thy voice behind me saying “This is the way, walk ye in it.” Thank you for hearing this prayer. Amen.
Thy trusting child,
James

Today’s letter My dear child, James. I understand thy doubts and fears for my holy child Jesus has walked among thee and tasted all thy bitter trials. But fear thou not: For I am with thee: Be not dismayed: For I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my Righteousness. Like as a father pitieth his children, so do I pity them that fear me. I know thy frame. I remember that ye are but dust. But I know too the plans that I have for thee like unto those for Isaac. Who sowed in the land and that year reaped an hundredfold, and grew until he became exceeding great. Yea, grew until the people of the land said unto him. “We saw certainly that the Lord was with thee and that thou art now the blessed of the Lord.” Keep thy prayers before me, for in my good time thou shall receive an answer of peace. Perhaps not what thou may wish, but certainly what thou dost need. Remember that the blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich and He addeth no sorrow with it. And, that the desires of the Righteous shall be granted.
Hear my word unto thee,
Thy Abba
