Today’s Letter
My dear Abba Father,
My dearest Abba Father God in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done in my life as in heaven. Teach me how to render ever more ready and joyful obedience. Enable me, by thy good spirit to have a growing and deepening faith in thee. Open thou mine eyes that I may behold great and marvelous things out of thy law – not only the moral but also the scientific. O dear Abba, please enable me to understand the life of the soil and the effects of electricity, magnetism and water upon it. Dear One, how deep are thy thoughts in the world of agriculture. Please grant me understanding above my fellows, I pray. May my garden be a wonder to the heathen to show that thou art God. Amen

I am the Lord God which hath made heaven and earth. I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldst go. I have called you: I have bought you, and you shall make thy way prosperous. O how great is my goodness which I have laid up for them that fear me. Be of good courage, and I shall strengthen your heart because thou dost hope in the Lord. For my name’s sake I shall lead thee, and guide thee, and bring thee to an expected end. Only trust and obey and thou shalt be blessed.
